Back in Action!

After a few week hiatus, I'm back in action :) for those of you that missed me, I've been hard at work making some more pieces, pictures to follow!

I'm going on vacation for my birthday, and I'm very much looking forward to raiding some of the local antique shops in Indiana :) My plan is to have a full stock of jewelry by the end of March.

I promise to keep everyone updated with what I'm doing, sorry for the long drought!

Nothing makes jewelry making harder than... my cat Peter. He wants to play with everything! haha.

I have a few more necklaces for you all :) And I'm going to the jewelry store to get more chain, yay!

I shop around...

After much research (thanks Emma!), I ventured to Metalliferous today in Midtown...talk about overwhelming! The place isn't very big, but boy do they cram a lot of stuff in there. The staff was helpful in the sense of "Where are the jump rings?" *points to 50 containers* "Oh...". But after 2 hours of browsing and guess & check, I think I got what I needed, and some things I didn't really need yet :x They did turn me on to some Silver Blackener that I've had a ton of fun with this evening.

Needless to say, I've finished two necklaces!! Making some more Wednesday, and the pictures I promised will be posted then :) Until then, here's a shop I'm digging right now:

It begins...

I never thought I'd be sitting here updating a blog, let alone starting my own company :) Ladies and gentleman, this is your host, entertainer, and personal designer, welcoming you to the beginning of my adventure... now let's hope it's a long one!
